Editor’s Review
The 6230 sports the fantastic all round features of its’ predecessor the 6600 but in a sleeker and slimmer body. It also features the familiar ease-of-use interface that most people love about Nokia phones. But if you can get over that, then you will find that the K700i really is a better featured phone. The 6230 has one great advantage over the K700i - the memory is expandable, but how long will you really keep it for before trading it in for the next big thing? And do you really need more than 40MB on a mobile phone?

What’s better...
Expandable memory. Battery life. And that you can zoom into your pics once taken. Not much else.
What’s not so good...
The central navigation button. The limited video-recording length.

What’s better...
Function & File architecture is easy to navigate through with a ‘see all’ type menu. Bigger screen, bigger pictures assigned to your contacts. Ringtones can be easily assigned to contacts. More camera options, including black & white/ sepia/ negative/ panoramic. Nicer earphones supplied.
What’s not so good...
Cannot upload own text message tone. The camera shutter noise, and that you can’t turn it off unless in silent mode.
